  • Cost: The license fee is typically around $30 to $40.

Once you’ve secured your photographer, it’s time to plan how you want your photos to come out. Consider these key moments to capture on your wedding day:

  • First Look: Many couples opt for a “first look” before the ceremony, which allows for a private moment between the couple while the photographer captures the emotions. This also helps with timeline management, allowing you to get many of your portraits done before the ceremony.
  • Outdoor Portraits: Take full advantage of Colorado Springs’ beautiful outdoor venues for stunning wedding portraits. Whether it’s in the green gardens of The Broadmoor, or in front of the breath taking red rocks at Garden of the Gods. Outdoor portraits will add an epic and natural touch to your photo collection.
  • Candid Moments: Some of the most meaningful wedding photos happen when you’re not looking. Ask your photographer to capture candid moments throughout the ceremony and reception. These can be the most emotional and authentic memories.
  • Sunset Shots: Choosing to get married in Colorado Springs is such a great option. There are spectacular sunsets, so if you’re having an evening ceremony. Make sure to take some time for a few sunset portraits. Your photographer can help you plan the right timing to catch the golden hour.
